abundant mercies, so, due to these we are able to attend this peaceful meeting.
Furthermore, we, specially send our

And I thank Mr / Mrs.... who has provided me time to speak today.
You know, after food,
cigarettes account for the second-largest household expenditure in the
South-East Asian country of 240 million people, nearly half of whom still live
on less than $US2 ($1.90) a day. But there is no minimum age for buying or
smoking cigarettes.
That’s
why I do sympathize with a kid who smokes two packs a day name’s Ilham. His
father said that Ilham started smoking when he was four years old and his
smoking habit grew day by day and now he can finish smoking two packs of
cigarettes a day. The
boy, who lives in a village in West Java provincial district of Sukabumi, would
flare up in a rage and break glass windows or anything if he was not given
cigarettes. He doesn't want to go to school anymore and he spends his whole day
smoking and playing.
As
a kid he is not supposed to be like that, he really need some supports and
guadiance from his parent. All he has to do is just playing and absolutely
studying.
Indonesia's
Child Protection Commission chairman Arist Merdeka Sirait said "The
growing number of smokers are a result of the industry's aggressive marketing
targeting young people."
According to the World
Health Organisation, smoking rates have risen sixfold in Indonesia over the
past 40 years. Smoking kills at least 400,000 people in Indonesia every year
and another 25,000 die from passive smoking.
I
think that’s all my speech, forgive me if I’m having many mistakes. Finally I
say…
Wassalamualaikum
